Information for Participants

Each seminar (a group of thematically unified participants supervised by one supervisor, four groups in total) consists of two parts:
In the first part the students will present their topics (10 min. each), followed by the supervisor’s comments on the topic and by a discussion (5–10 min.).
The second part of the seminar will be devoted to the discussion about the scholarly texts (ca 20–40 pages) chosen and provided by the supervisors of the particular seminar groups (60 min.). Texts will be sent to the participants in advance.

The preconference will be opened by the introductory lecture provided by Prof. Monika Fludernik and closed by a panel discussion between the supervisors and the participants.

In order to present their topics, participants will have a computer with a data projector at their disposal, they can also use their own handouts.
